CU language students have access to Yabla, an online video collection that is designed specifically for language instruction. Come learn how to use the features of Yabla to create a class, populate the class, and create assignments for your students. We will also discuss how to best employ Yabla in the language classroom and explore introductory and follow-up activities to help you seamlessly begin using this program. Yabla is currently available in Spanish, French, Italian, Chinese, German and ESL.

We will discuss the pros and cons of online assessment and strategize the most effective content and formatting for online quizzes and tests. Participants will also have a chance to practice using D2L for creating quizzes and tests for their students. Please consider bringing your own quiz or test that you would like to put into D2L.
