Your computer can help you to learn a foreign language, but you must first know how to make it work for you. ALTEC has written a variety of guides covering; audio recording using Audacity, typing diacritics, and using character sets not found on a standard American keyboard. While these guides were first written to help students in our language lab, they can be useful on your home computer as well. Enjoy language learning by using the right tools.
