IMPORTING FILES

To import a sound file into Audacity, open Audacity and select File and Open.

Navigate your way to the sound file you wish to import and click Open.

A window will appear showing the file being imported:

And finally, the sound file will be shown in the Audacity window:

Note: two tracks will appear if it is a stereo file.
