REPEAT

Like inserting silence, repeating a section has some limited use in call and response language exercises. The repeat effect will allow you to select a segment of sound and repeat it a number of times.

The first step in repeating a part of a track is to select the portion of the track you would like to repeat.

Repeat selection

The second step is to go to the Effect menu and select Repeat. You will be presented with a set of options as shown in the image below. You may select the number of times you would like to repeat your selection. In this test, the default 10 was selected. The option box also tells you the final length of all your repeats added together.

Repeat options

After implementing the repeat, your selection will be duplicated the number of times selected. Notice the image below with the ten repeats selected along with the original (11 identical segments in a row).
