1) If the correct kanji appears (replacing the characters you just typed), press the Enter key to confirm your selection and continue writing.

2) If the incorrect kanji appears, press the Space Bar again. You will then be able to view more options from which to select. Select the appropriate kanji combination using the Arrow Keys, Number Keys or by repeatedly pressing the Space Bar. Press Enter to select the desired combination. 4) After you press the Space Bar to change kanji/kana/kanji+kana combination, if the highlighted portion is not what you need to change, use the right/left Arrow Keys while presing the Shift key.

For example:
こ ど も の は は は は が み が く is incorrect, because by selecting three s, the result will be: 子供の母は歯がみがく "As for the child's mother, teeth brush."

In contrast: こ ど も の は は は は が み が く is correct, because the selection of "はは" will result in the following Kanji combination: 子供の歯は母がみがく "Mother brushes her child's teeth."

  • Although hiaragana and kanji can only be typed as full-width characters, katakana and Romaji can be input as half-sized characters by selecting Half-Width Katakana and Direct Input respectively at the Language Change icon.

  • To get back to the English setting, click the Language Change icon and select "EN English".
