ALTEC Video Shorts Contest st place Team![]() nd place Team![]() rd place Team![]() The theme of this year's ALTEC Video Shorts contest is "Learn a language." We are seeking short films in Quicktime format, no longer than 90 seconds, on this theme. (Credits may exceed the 90-second limit.) The content of your clip should be family-friendly, free of explicit or offensive content, and culturally sensitive. Awards:Award winners will be announced at the ALTEC Open House on April 15th, 2010.
Winning videos will be posted on the ALTEC website. By submission to the contest, you consent to the posting of your video short. Should ALTEC recieve less than five submissions, then no awards will be given. Eligibility:Any CU undergraduate or graduate student is eligible to participate in the contest. Faculty, staff, and non-campus persons may participate, but only current CU-Boulder students will be eligible for prizes. You may participate in up to two video projects in any capacity, and will be given credit for membership on no more than two official teams. Teams may consist of any number of members. Any person who participates in the making of a video must be given credit as a team member, including actors, writers, editors, and videographers. All team members must be listed on the registration form. Releases must be obtained from any person whose voice or image is used in the film; a release form is available on the contest website. Video clips containing copyrighted material will not be considered. Submission deadline:Films must be saved to CD or DVD and submitted with the registration form and any releases necessary to ALTEC no later than April 1th. Finalists2008 Finalists |
